Group apps for Sign in with Apple

Your users will need to provide consent for their information to be shared with you. To ensure this is only done once for each of your related apps or websites, we recommend grouping related identifiers together.

Grouping apps

  1. In Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, click Identifiers in the sidebar.

  2. Select the App Identifier you want to modify.

  3. Under Capabilities, select Sign in with Apple, then click Configure.

  4. Choose whether this App ID should be enabled as a primary or grouped with an existing primary App ID.

  5. Click Save to save the configuration.

  6. Click Save in the top right to save the changes to your App ID.

Note: Turning off the Sign in with Apple capability will reset any saved configurations.

Ungrouping individual App IDs

To ungroup apps from your primary App ID, you need to update the Sign in with Apple configuration for your secondary App ID. You should change this to become a primary App ID. This will ungroup the app and make it eligible to have its own secondary App IDs.

  1. In Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, click Identifiers in the sidebar.

  2. Search for the App ID you want to ungroup.

  3. Under Capabilities, click Configure next to Sign in with Apple.

  4. Select “Enable as a primary App ID”.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click Save.

Note : Ungrouping a group of apps will convert each grouped App ID to a primary. Authentication will continue to function. However, we recommend that you create a new Authentication Key for each app enabled with Sign in with Apple.
